-Praying Mantis is another N.W.O.B.H.M. band from london U.K. formed in 1973, they managed to maintain an important fan base especially in Japan.

Praying Mantis As Symbolism & Spiritual Meaning:

The praying mantis is very symbolic. It may be seen as representing the creator's role in watching over all living worlds, with the forelegs pointing upwards to represent reaching towards Heaven, and the folded mid-legs representing kneeling for prayer before God. 

The insect is also thought to represent inquisitiveness and intelligence, because of its ability to turn its head 180 degrees to see behind it's own body. The compound eyes of the mantis are also considered a representation of wisdom, in that they give added perception through which you can understand your surroundings with more clarity. 

Dreaming about the praying mantis reflects a need for spiritual or psychological guidance. You may be feeling that you are questioning what role God has in your life, and looking to fulfill the emotional needs of your existence through spiritual means.
